The new Goals module is replacing the old OKR/KPI module and gives you a more flexible way to manage goals across your company.
You can use it not only for traditional OKRs, but also for KPIs, performance management, employee development plans, and project goals.
If you are currently using the old OKR/KPI module, you can move your existing goals to the new Goals module directly from Sloneek.
All you have to do is click the Migrate now button in the highlighted bar:
What happens when you migrate?
When you click Migrate now, Sloneek will automatically transfer your existing goals to the new Goals module.
During migration:
- Your existing Objectives and Key Results are preserved
- Their structure remains unchanged
- Your current progress is transferred as well
- Migrated goals are created as company-level goals
- Once the migration is complete, you will receive a notification
The migration may take a few seconds. If you do not see the migrated goals immediately after completion, try refreshing the page.
Will I lose any data?
No. Your existing Objectives, Key Results, their hierarchy, and current progress are transferred to the new module.
The goal of the migration is to let you continue working with your existing data while gaining access to the new Goals functionality.
Is the migration reversible?
No. The migration is one-way.
Once you migrate to the new Goals module, you will no longer be able to return to the old OKR/KPI module.
For this reason, we recommend starting the migration when you are ready to continue managing your goals in the new module.
What happens to individual goals in the user profile?
Individual goals will also be migrated to the new Goals module.
For users, the experience will remain familiar — they will continue to find their individual goals under their profile in My Goals.
Admins can also view individual goals in the overall Goals overview and filter them by a specific user when needed.
In the future, we also plan to redesign the entire Evaluation section in the user profile so that it brings together all key information related to employee performance and development in one place, including:
- Goals
- 360° Feedback
- Performance Evaluation
The aim is to give both employees and their managers a clear, unified view of performance and development in one place.
What happens to the old OKR/KPI module?
After migration, the old module will no longer be available for your company.
The old OKR/KPI module will also be sunset at the end of the year, so all customers currently using it will eventually move to the new Goals module.
Why are we introducing the new Goals module?
The old OKR/KPI module was primarily designed around a traditional Objective and Key Result structure.
The new Goals module gives you much more flexibility in how you define, connect, and manage goals.
You can use Goals to:
- Connect company, team, and individual goals
- Track KPIs and performance
- Create and manage development plans
- Manage projects and milestones
- Structure goals using goals and subgoals
- Track progress with different metric types
- Keep goals up to date through regular check-ups
- Work with clearer ownership, visibility, and permissions
This makes Goals useful not only for quarterly OKRs, but as an ongoing management tool for different areas of your organization.
How to migrate
- Open the existing OKR/KPI Goals section.
- Click Migrate now.
- Wait a few seconds while your goals are transferred.
- Once the migration is complete, you will receive a notification.
- If the new Goals module does not appear immediately, refresh the page.
You can then continue working with your existing goals directly in the new Goals module.
