All about managing absences and work related activities.👇How do you know which features to use in your company?
Simply follow what you see in the left menu under the Calendars tab. You will always see the overall overview and Absences. You will only see Clock-in / Out and Time-tracking if your company has these functionalities enabled.
We will look at Absences, entering Arrivals and Departures and basic Time tracking controls. We've prepared a FAQ to help you. Click through to get detailed instructions.

Everything important then takes place on your Desktop. From here, you can track company announcements, enter new absences, activities or arrivals and departures, post and receive public kudos, or just see which of your colleagues won't be at work. At the same time, Sloneek will always notify you here if you are expected to take an action - such as signing a document or confirming the receipt or handover of an asset.

First login to Sloneek
The first time you hear about setting up the account is through an email notification. Click on Set Password and then you'll be able to look into the app for the first time.ATTENTION: some Outlook users may find that the button is not active (this is not Sloneek's fault, but a hidden Microsoft treasure). In this case, use the links located in the section below the button.
If you use Microsoft or Google business accounts, you will receive a notification (see above) when your account is activated, along with information on how to log in using the Google or Microsoft buttons.
If this is not possible, contact your company's IT administrator.

Notifications in Sloneek
To avoid having to remember expiration dates, reminders, anniversaries, event approval notices, and the like, Sloneek sends a series of alerts. These are sent out in relation to user roles.You can find detailed settings and an overview of the notifications you may receive in your profile, under the Notifications and Integrations tab.
These notifications include monthly or weekly reports that are sent to your email in relation to user roles:
Monthly summary for the User role
The summary is sent out on the morning of the first day of the month. In the overview you will find the following in relation to the activated modules:

Attendance Summary with a warning if there is a missed departure (in this situation, the attendance is not closed)

Activity summary with a warning of any incomplete time tracking

Tools awaiting acceptance + button linking to My Tools

Documents awaiting my signature + button linking to specific documents
Weekly overview for the user role Manager
The overview is sent out every Monday morning. In the overview you will find all items linked to the User + items which belongs to Manager role:

Birthdays - A listing of who will have a birthday in the next two weeks (user/birthday date)

Absence - all absences that are pending approval/cancellation - listed in the format user/event/start-end (button "approve all", button "overview" - leads to Approval directly in the application) + listing who is absent this week

Time tracking - all activities pending approval / cancellation ("approve all" button, "overview" button - leads to Approval)
Monthly overview for Admin user role
The report is sent out in the morning on the first of the month. In the overview you will find all items linked to the User role, Manager role + items which belongs to Admin role:

Download the monthly reports - Link to generate the report. Included is Information on who has no closed absences in the previous month (List of unapproved events - user, event, start and end)

Overview of reminders for the Admin user role
Added a new notification type reminder to the Anniversary and Date email notifications. The notification is sent 7 days and 3 days before the date specified in the user's profile.
You can turn off/on the Sloneek DIGEST reports on the Notifications / Sloneek tab. You can find it under ME / My profile.

How to connect your calendars?
Connect your Google or Outlook calendars and keep track of absences.
The whole integration process is very simple and consists of three steps:
- Go to My Profile / Notifications and Integrations in the app.
- Click on one of the following buttons at the bottom of the page:
- Give the app the necessary permissions and then just select the calendars you want to connect.
