What is the Time tracking mode?
There are three types of timetracking mode in the application:
Enabled - means that the activity can be recorded using timetracking, but it is not required. Thus, activities can also be planned in the calendar ahead or entered backwards.
Required - means that the activity can only be written via timetracking in the top right corner of the app.
Not allowed - means that the activity cannot be entered via timetracking, but can only be entered via the New Activity button, either forwards or backwards.
Activities of the Homeoffice and Business trip type are set with the Not allowed mode by default, so that you can e.g. timetrack other work activities on the homeoffice.

How to track homeoffice?
Conveniently and simultaneously record work from home and other work activities.Setting up a new activity
When creating a new activity, select Homeoffice as the activity type and allow it to be recorded by the required users.
From the user`s perspective
When the employee records a new Homeoffice activity, they will have the option to add another overlapping activities to its duration.Example: the user Eva Bláhová works from home on 18/11/2022 and therefore records a Homeoffice activity with a duration of 8 hours. However, during this time she is working on several activities that she also wants to record in her calendar. Specifically, two online meetings with clients at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm and the work on content from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. So she simply records all of these activities, which will then be nested in the calendar view under the Homeoffice activity (see image below).
Report view
Homeoffice activities are also reflected in the reports. Specifically, in the Overview of activities and Summary of activities report, in which you can easily filter this type of activity. At the same time, in the report you will also find documents and notes that were attached to these activities. You can easily download all attached files from the reports.

How to track Business trips?
Is your employee on a business trip and at the same time performing another work activity? They have the opportunity to record everything simultaneously and clearly.
Setting up a new activity
When creating a new activity, select Business trip as the activity type and allow it to be recorded by the required users.
From the user`s perspective
When the employee records a new Business Trip activity, they will have the option to add another overlapping activities to its duration.Example: User Eva Bláhová goes on a business trip on 10/24/2022, and therefore tracks an activity of type Business trip with a duration of 6 hours. This trip also includes an important meeting with a client scheduled for 11:30 a.m., which she would also like to mark on the calendar. So she simply adds another activity, which will then be nested within the Business Trip activity in the calendar view (see image below).
For each activity, the employee also has the option to upload files related to it. This may include, for example, detailed documentation of a business trip.

Why don't I see homeoffice and business trips on the dashboard?
If you don't see a homeoffice or business trip on the dashboard in the first widget, also make sure you don't have homeoffice and business trips set as absences. Then you would see them in the second "Who is not working today" widget.
Another possibility as to why you don't see the top widget could be that you have the Activities module turned off. Check the visibility of the modules in the Settings / Visibility of modules section.
