What each User needs to know

Edit activity
If you need to edit or change an Activity event that you have entered, click on the specific attendance event in the Activity Calendar (or integrated calendar). The right sidebar will appear.
When you click on the icon, editing options appear. To edit, SAVE.
In the same place, you can cancel an event or request a cancellation.
Note: Only an administrator can completely delete an activity from the calendar or from the user profile.
Alternatively, you can make an edit directly in the weekly calendar by dragging the edge of the event, or change the date by moving the entire event to another day.
If an activity is set as automatically approved, its status will change immediately. If it is subject to manager approval, the manager is notified of the change and the application waits for his decision.
Editing activity entered using time tracking
By the nature of the time tracking functionality, the option to allow editing of these events is not automatically enabled. If you want to use this option, you must set this option through users with the Administrator or Account Owner role.

Entering time tracking activity
Scheduling and reporting work in Sloneek is done in the Calendars/Activities tab. Monthly, weekly and time line views are available. With the combined view and following the permissions you have set, you can see your events, the team you are assigned to and if enabled by role change, then all events across the company.
If a scheduling event is not assigned directly to you by a manager or scheduler, you can enter it directly from the desktop or by clicking or dragging your mouse on the calendar.
You select the event, its time allocation, and choose whether it is a one-off or recurring event. Sloneek checks if there is another duplicate event at that time and save.
FAQ: How do I enter (insert) an activity backwards (to the past)?
If you need to enter an activity back into the past, simply click on the New Activity button and select the desired day and time for which you want to enter the activity. Please note: if your company account settings do not allow you to backdate activities, you will need to contact your manager or HR to have them backdate the activity for you.
Recurring events
If you need to enter a recurring activity in the calendar, select the section you want to repeat. In the repeat event settings detail (small calendar), you then click only on the days on which you want to repeat the segment.
Starting time tracking
To start time tracking, click the Play button in the top right corner of the app. Select the activity you want to measure. Complete it by selecting a work category and start.
FAQ: What is the play button?
Play button is the button in the top bar to start tracking your time on activities.
The shortest possible period that can be measured is 1 minute.
If you do not have an activity selected, contact your supervisor or Administrator to have the activity assigned in Setup.

How to record activities for clients and projects?
It is very easy to record a specific work activity that you, as a user, perform within a project for a client. The procedure is as follows:
- Click on the New Activity button from your desktop or calendar.
- A dialog box opens, in which first select which client you did the work for.
- Depending on this, you will only see the projects that are related to the client.
- Then select which activity you have performed (e.g. mock-ups) or add the activity category.
- All that remains is to enter the time range and save.
If you don't see any clients in the dropdown, even though you have created clients before, it is most likely because there is no project linked to the client yet. Go to the Clients and Projects section and assign a project to the client.
